reservations

A reservation from Heritage Haus Farm provides you the first selection option AFTER any retained animals, in the order your deposit was received. Heritage Haus Farm reserves the right to retain any animal bred by our farm, at any time, at our discretion.

Animals can be reserved by completing the Breeding Reservation and Purchase Agreement and submitting a deposit. Deposits are $100 for Kunekune Piglets and Dairy Goats and $50 for Sheep. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first deposit basis. Breeding, availability, and pricing are subject to change. Any reservations received at this time will be applied to the 2023 breeding season.

Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to another litter/animal of choice if the first choice can not be fulfilled. Your deposit will be applied to the final purchase price of your animals. Deposits are honored for 24 months following the date of deposit.

When you confirm your animal selection, the balance MUST be paid in full within 7 days of the confirmation notice sent. Reservation agreements not paid on time will be deemed void. The deposit will not be refunded and the animal will be offered for sale to an alternative buyer.

Animals must be picked up within 14 days of weaning, or at an agreed-upon date for mature stock. Animals staying on the farm longer than the designated time period will be subject to a boarding fee of $5.00 per day.

additional information

Goats

All purchases include disbudding, CD/T vaccines, and registration with ADGA (breeding stock only).

Sheep

All purchases include CD/T vaccines. We do not dock tails.

Pigs

All piglets born on our farm are vaccinated with Rhini Shield TX4, BI 3FLEX Vaccine, and Parvo Shield or Farrowsure Gold per our veterinarian's recommended vaccine schedule. Purchase also includes castration for barrows and AKKPS registration for breeding stock. We do not sell females that are not registrable breeding stock.

Animals are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale. Once an animal leaves our property, NO guarantee is extended. Vet Health Certificate is available upon request or if required for inter-state transportation at the buyers' cost.

deposits

All deposits are nonrefundable, except if a reserved animal does not become available, or if an animal becomes sick or injured while on Heritage Haus Farm premises. In this case, you may request that your deposit is returned, applied to another available animal, or rolled over to the next breeding season.

Completing the reservation application is a step in the process of acquiring a goat, sheep, or pig from Heritage Haus Farm. Placing a deposit for an animal from a planned breeding does not guarantee you will get an animal from this or any future breeding.

While unlikely, Heritage Haus Farm reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.
